Every year, the skies above Chiang Mai transform into a breathtaking sea of glowing lanterns. Rooted in the traditions of the ancient Lanna Kingdom, Yi Peng symbolizes letting go of misfortune, making wishes for the future, and welcoming new beginnings — attracting thousands of visitors from around the world to an unforgettable spectacle of light, culture, and community.
Guests proceed to the lantern release area. Pre-show performances begin.
